- Counts are taken as is from the main annual series, with no composite index.
- Rate = (offences ÷ Statbel population on 1 January of the year) × 1,000; no rate without an official population (zones, arrondissements).
- 2025 is provisional: first publication (closed 24/04/2026). Reports registered late are added in later bulletins, which revise the figures upwards. Comparing 2025 with the already revised 2024 may therefore overstate the fall (see Methodology).
- 66 municipalities missing from the Q4 2025 bulletin (63 in Flemish Brabant, Oud-Turnhout, Pont-à-Celles, Meix-devant-Virton) come from archived BIPOL bulletins (Wayback Machine): complete years up to 2024 (2022 for Pont-à-Celles, 2023 for Meix-devant-Virton), earlier closing date, so unrevised figures slightly lower than they would be in the reference bulletin. No 2025 for these municipalities.
